current testing creates an electrical current in a conductive material by introducing a magnetic field. Interruptions in the flow of this electrical current (EddyCurrents) generated by imperfections or changes in a material’s conductive properties will cause changes. These changes allow the operator to detect a defect or discontinuity in the item being examined.
